This is the top internet marketing forum in the world, and if you’re trying to make money online and you haven’t heard of this forum then you’re doing something wrong. And don’t let the name fool you, it’s not a forum where people do illegal things or hacks – these are not allowed on Blackhatworld.

Why I upgraded my membership?
I upgraded my membership on the forum to Jr.Vip for 1 year for a couple of reasons. One is because I wanted to give back and support the forum that taught me so much in my journey to making money online. Another is because I wanted to have a signature in my posts in order to get traffic from the links I will put in my signature. Another is because I wanted to put one of my websites in the Website field, which will also be displayed on every one of my posts, therefore potentially bringing me visitors to my site. Another reason is because I wanted to be able to bid on any jobs/requests that are posted on the forum’s “Hire a Freelancer” and “Want To Buy” sections. And lastly I wanted access to the “hidden” part of the forum which is only available to upgraded members.
These are the main reasons, but there’s a few more. One is the respect you get by being a Jr.Vip member (you become Blue instead of the default Yellow). Another is that often when people do giveaways and stuff like that on the forum they will only do it for members that have an upgraded account. One more reason is because you can rent your signature space for money. The price for becoming a Jr.Vip for 1 year is $97 dollars. I could make much more than that in 1 year by renting out my signature space.
So as you can see, there’s plenty of good reasons to upgrade my account. Here’s a thread on the forum that lists the benefits in a different style than I do:

What is Jr.Vip and Donor upgrade?
There’s 2 types of upgrades you can do on Blackhatworld. You can become a Jr.Vip or a Donor.

How to upgrade?
To upgrade, first of all your account must be at least 60 days old and you must have at least 100 posts. Assuming you have that, login to your account and go here – https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades
You will be asked to input your full name, address, city, country, etc. And here it is:

Donations to BlackHatWorld will be used to support the forums costs such as hosting, software updates and adding new features to the forum. Jr. VIP Membership
If you have been a member of the forum for at least 60 days, and have made at least 100 posts, your $97 donation will promote you to a Jr. VIP membership, which allows you to access the hidden Jr. VIP forums and allows you to submit threads into the marketplace subject to marketplace terms and conditions.Please note – it may take up to 7 days for your payment to be processed!
And there you have it. You have all the information you need. Decide on the kind of upgrade you want to make, and then proceed to pay either with Paypal or with Stripe. Personally I paid with Paypal. And after making the payment, due to Backhatworld setting up a recurring payment situation – to where I would be automatically charged for a renewal after my upgrade expires – I then went on and cancelled the recurring payment thing in my Paypal account.

Only a few hours after completing the payment, my account on Blackhatworld was upgraded to Jr.Vip and it was done. All in all a very painless, simple and quick process… and rewarding too, if you play your cards right ;)
Note: As you can see from the emails above, what happens when you upgrade is that a recurring (pre-approved) payment gets created in your Paypal account, and when time comes for your Jr.Vip membership to expire on Blackhatworld, you will be automatically billed to renew it. Final thoughts
At the end of the day, the main reason I upgraded my membership is to get a return on investment. I just upgraded recently, and I’m trying to have my websites links on my profile and in my signature, and hopefully that will get me clicks, traffic and sales.
If I conclude after a while that that’s not really making me any real money, I’ll probably look to rent out my signature space. I’ve been a member of that forum for years and I have over 1,500+ posts, and I tend to be fairly active on the forum quite often, so I’m pretty sure I could rent out my signature space for a nice chunk of change ;)
