In this article I’m going to show you some of the replies you may receive from them.
Soundcloud Support Reply – Request Received
The first reply you may receive after contacting them is one where they thank you for reaching out and give you your ticket number. They may also tell you that at the moment they’re receiving a larger than usual number of contacts so it can take them a bit longer to respond, unfortunately. And they may also apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
This is how it looks:

Any email address you remove from CC will not be excluded from the ticket thread, despite appearing to do so. Additionally, email recipients may not see all parties on CC. This is not a reply to your inquiry. This is just a reply acknowledging that they received your request. The reply to your inquiry will come later on that day or a few days later.
Soundcloud Support Reply – Permanently Removed
If they decide to permanently remove your account, the answer will look something like this:

- Repeatedly unfollow and refollow the same accounts, in order to draw attention to your own profile
- Repeatedly repost or like tracks that you have reposted or liked in the past
When an account is removed for violating these Terms, your account, tracks, followers and stats are removed from our platform and you are permanently banned from returning to SoundCloud.
We take the security of our community very seriously. We hope that you can understand that SoundCloud is a place for people to share content which respects our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.

In addition, it is stated in the monetisation agreement that:
“SoundCloud’s obligation to remit to You Your Revenues is subject to Your compliance with Your obligations in these Terms and Conditions”
Accordingly, no further payments shall be remitted to you.

Clearly, your account is gone forever if you get any of these. I’ve found that their decisions are final, and appealing again even multiple times will not get you a different decision.
Soundcloud Support Reply – Temporarily Removed
Here is an email where they tell you that you were temporarily removed, and your account has been restored, for now…

This means they’ve restored your account, and you can login and use it again. When you login again go check your account’s profile and cover photos as they now may not be visible until you reupload them. Also, at this point you may be limited from liking/reposting/following people for a few days.
Soundcloud Support Reply – Mistakenly Detected as Spam
This is the best reply you can receive, because here you’re not suspected of having done anything wrong. Their system mistakenly detected your account as spam and as a result suspended it from their platform.

I even saw a reply in German. That’s weird because I am not German, my Soundcloud account was not German, but there you go. This is the same reply as the one above where they tell you that your account has been temporarily removed because they detected automated interactions on your account, except it’s in German haha 😁

I think that Soundcloud is a German-based company, and that’s why this happened. Of course, there was nothing about my account that’s German-related, but there you go.

My personal stance on this one is, ignore it, because life is too short. My professional stance on it is, if they restored my account I’ve received impeccable support, the best in the world. But if my account is permanently removed, then they suck big time! 😁

Conclusion
In conclusion, I have no hate towards Soundcloud. They run a nice site and they’re pretty lenient and fair in their treatment of their users. I hope you guys found this post interesting 🙂
