Recently I wrote a review about Perfectmoney.com and outlined all the details about this payment processor. In today’s article I’m going to inform you about changing some notification settings which are disabled by default, but you may want to enable them for your convenience.
Perfectmoney notification settings problem
When you first register on Perfectmoney, this is what your notification settings look like:
When I first created a Perfectmoney account and received a payment on it, I received no email notification. I found this weird because I’m used to Paypal and Payoneer and 2Checkout… and all the other payment processors actually notifying you by default via email when important things happen with your account, such as receiving a payment.
How to change Perfectmoney notification settings
So I looked around and found a way to change notification settings on my Perfectmoney account.
Here is how you do it:
- Login to your Perfectmoney account
- Click on Settings in the navigation bar
- Click on Change Notification Settings
- Select what you want, and click Save
Here is how my notification settings look like now:
So as you can see, I have all fields enabled for email notifications, and none of them for SMS notifications.
Important Note: Please see what it says in the screenshot above: “Your main USD account will be charged 10 cents for each SMS. SMS Notification will not be triggered, if transaction amount is less than 5.00 usd/euro.”
I would suggest you DO NOT enable any SMS notifications. There is no need for them, and there is definitely no need to throw away your money like that.
Here is a video I made showing you how to do this:
Conclusion
While not a big deal, you will probably want to enable notifications on your Perfectmoney.com account. I first got annoyed by this when I received a payment from a customer, and then the customer contacted me asking about when I will deliver what they bought, and I didn’t even know that I received the payment until I logged into my Perfectmoney account and checked.
So that’s it, you’re all set. Now go on and conquer the world! :)
