Paypal – How to change Primary Email

In this post I will show you how to change your Paypal primary email address.

What is the Paypal primary email?

Your primary email on Paypal is initially the one you used to register with. That’s the email where you receive all the important emails related to your account, from the message center, and anything else related to your account. This is your main Paypal email. The main method through which they communicate with you. The good thing is, you can change it at any time.

 

How to change the email address?

Changing this is very simple. The first thing you need to do is add at least one more email to your Paypal account.

Now that that’s done, here are the steps to changing your primary email:

1. Go to Paypal.com and login
2. Click the little wheel icon in the upper-right corner of the screen
3. Find the “Email address” area, and click on “Edit” next to the new email you added
4. On the next page, tick the box that says “Make this my primary email address for receiving notifications,” and then click on “Change email address“
5. Done!

 

That’s all there is to it. You have made the change and from now on all your new important messages from Paypal will arrive on the new primary email you selected.
