What is Metricool?

Metricool is a social media management and analytics platform designed to help creators, marketers, and businesses save time while growing their online presence. It combines content scheduling, performance tracking, and ad management in one easy-to-use dashboard. Instead of juggling multiple apps, Metricool lets you plan, publish, and analyze your content across platforms from a single place.

Whether you’re managing one brand or multiple client accounts, the platform offers tools to improve efficiency and measure results — making it a favorite for freelancers, agencies, and business owners alike.

Metricool supports all major platforms, allowing you to manage them from one dashboard:

  • Instagram – Schedule posts, reels, and stories
  • Twitter (X) – Plan and monitor tweets and engagement
  • Tik Tok – Manage video publishing and track growth

In addition, Metricool integrates with Google Ads and Facebook Ads, letting you analyze ad performance alongside your organic content.

Free Plan

One of Metricool’s biggest advantages is its free plan. This plan allows you to manage one brand, connect your social accounts, and schedule content with a monthly limit of 50 posts (great for small businesses or individuals testing the platform). The 50 posts are very generous when comparing to other platforms offering the same service. You’ll also have access to analytics that give you insight into your audience and engagement, helping you refine your strategy.

The free plan is a perfect way to explore the platform’s features without committing to a subscription.

FREE – $0 per month, for life.

  • Management of all your brand’s social media accounts (excluding LinkedIn and Twitter).
  • Planning up to 50 pieces of content per month.
  • Analysis of 5 competitor profiles.
  • Access to analytics with 3 months of historical data.
  • Utilize the AI Social Media Assistant.

Unfortunately, you cannot use Twitter on a free account, though they do allow you to connect your Linkedin account for free for 3 months, which is more than enough to test it.

Other than that, you get access to pretty much all of the site’s features with a free account, which is great.

Pricing

Metricool offers flexible paid plans to match different needs:

Starter – Ideal for individuals and small businesses that need more scheduled posts, multiple brand management, and deeper analytics.

Advanced – Designed for agencies and larger businesses, these include advanced reporting, team collaboration, and increased account limits.

Custom – You get everything that the platform offers, and as much of it as you want. You have to contact them to discuss what you want.

Pricing is competitive compared to other social media management tools, and the range of tiers ensures you only pay for what you actually need.

Visit Metricool here and navigate to their Pricing page to see all the details…

Affiliate Program

Metricool also offers an affiliate program for creators, influencers, and marketers. By recommending it to others, you can earn commissions when new users sign up through your referral link. The program is free to join and provides an extra way to monetize your content or blog if you’re writing about social media, marketing, or digital tools.

They also offer analytics/stats so that you can see how many clicks and referrals you have received from your link. You will also have access to official graphical elements, tutorials, marketing resources, and cookies without expiration.

This last one about cookies is important, because it means that when somebody clicks your referral/affiliate link, they get a cookie in their browser that does not expire. So then even if they don’t register on Metricool straight away, but they register days/weeks/months later, as long as they didn’t clear the cookies in their browser (and most people never do), they will still become your referral once they create an account 😉

To find your referral link, simply register on the site, click on the 3 lines in the upper right corner of your screen, and click on “Affiliation program“.

Your referral/affiliate link is shown there, and it looks something like this – https://f.mtr.cool/QTYTBX

You earn a 50% commission on your users spending each month (up to $50 per user). The payments are made to your Paypal account after you accumulate a minimum of $100 USD in your account.

Summary

Metricool is more than just a scheduler — it’s a full social media command center. With its intuitive dashboard, free plan, and competitive pricing, it’s an excellent choice for individuals, small businesses, and agencies. The platform’s ability to connect multiple social networks, track analytics, and even manage ads sets it apart from many competitors.

If you’re looking for a streamlined way to plan, publish, and analyze your digital presence, Metricool is worth trying — especially since you can start with the free plan and upgrade only if you need more power.
