Like4Like – Problem with Permissions

If you use the Like4Like social exchange site, you may have received an email like this before:

like4like-problem-with-permissions

Like4Like – Problem with permissions! After our regular system checkup, and automatic account diagnostics at Like4Like community website, we found that the URL: “LINK” that you have submitted to our Google Circles Manage Pages have a problem with their permission settings.

Please read our Manage Google Circles Guidelines for more information, on how to successfully setup your Google Circles pages, and inform us of the changes via our contact page.

If you have any questions regarding our system, or services, please… do not hesitate to contact us at any time… :)

What this means is that your link is now pretty much dead on Like4Like. It’s locked and it will not receive any more likes/followers/interactions from Like4Like.

Why would this happen?

There are a few reasons why this could happen. Let’s say your link is a Twitter profile link. One reason is that your profile has been removed/deleted/suspended, so obviously no more followers can be sent to it. Another reason could be is that you made your profile Private, so no more followers can be sent to it. Sometimes it can also happen by accident.

How to fix it?

In order to fix it first you need to make sure that your post/profile is alive and public. So if your Twitter account was made Private, you need to make it Public again. If you made the subscribers count on your Youtube channel Private, you need to make them Public, etc.

Now that you’ve checked your post/profile and made sure that everything is okay with it, go ahead and login to your Like4Like account and navigate to the category where your profile/post is.

You will see something like this:

like4like-link-is-currently-suspended

The link is currently suspended! There is a problem with permissions set to the URL you have submitted to our system. Please visit our Help Center and read an article referring to the problem involved. After you have successfully completed the permission changes, please click on the ReActivation Link.

At this point all you have to do is click where it says ReActivation Link, and then the page will refresh and you will see this:

like4like-link-is-currently-waiting-validation

The link is currently waiting validation! Please allow us up to 6 hours for our validation team to review your request. In the meantime, please browse our Help Center or/and Blog for more related information.

And that’s it. Within 6-24 hours they will check the link and if everything is okay with it they will reactivate it and you will start receiving interactions to it again.

Video I made talking about this:

Summary

The reason I wrote this post is because when this first happened to me I got a little worried because I didn’t know why this happened and so I was worried about my social profile and/or Like4Like account for a second there. If this happened to you and you went out searching for information about it and you came to this post, let me just say that it’s a normal thing and there’s nothing to worry about it.

Lastly, let me just say that Like4Like is one of the best social exchange sites out there, and if you’re into social media in any way you can definitely get a lot of benefit from using the site.

And if you are using the site and you want to collect points on autopilot, you can buy iMacros to automatically collect points here, and you can also buy empty Like4Like accounts here.

    • There’s no solution other than to wait for them to reactivate your link.

But you should check if your link is public. If your page is private, or have some country/age/gender restriction on it, then maybe they disabled your link for a reason, and they won’t reactivate it until you fix the problem.

But if you’re sure your link is fine, then just wait for them to reactivate it. There’s nothing else you can do :)

Well, I guess maybe you can write them a message and ask them about it, but I’m not sure if that’s gonna help.

    • You don’t have to enter anything in the link description when adding a link. Just leave that field empty.

And if you added a link already and you wrote something in the description, then simply remove the link and add it again, this time leaving the description field empty.

      That’s it :)

    • I’d love to help you, but there’s not much I can do or say.

I don’t use their app, I use their desktop website. If you’re using like their mobile app, maybe try removing and installing the app again, and try to login. Or maybe try using a different device.

At the end of the day, if you can’t login it’s best that you contact their support and tell them what problem you’re having, and see what they tell you.

      Good luck :)
